LINK Good to hear this. The young db's will only continue to get better under his tutelage.

This is great news. Our DB play has grown exponentially since he joined the staff.

Say why you want, but signing Aaron Glenn then bringing him on staff has been huge.

Fair...but he is to blame for Crawley being inactive games 1 and 2 and Harris starting both games.

I don't think he has a lot of input with regards to inactives.

Nope. That's squarely on Allen unless Payton was meddling in the defense again.

And with Allen and Harris being from the same alma mater it's no surprise Harris kept getting preferential treatment until he fricked up way too bad.

And...

The DC is the one putting together the gameplan and picking the guys he wants on the field. Maybe an assistant has varying levels of input, but not enough to sway the DC to play a clearly inferior player. Their job is mostly to coach up their position group, not run the defense.

definitely a huge plus. I love the entire D-Coaching staff. All 3 of the guys we have at every level get every ounce out of the talent they have to work with. I would like to keep this group together as long as possible...which I don't anticipate being longer than 2-3 years tops.

I think the position coaches have more say so as to who will play than you think. Just watch hard knocks.

If he gets the blame for that he also gets the accolades for turning Crawley into a top 20 corner.

Meh. Allen was our DBs coach prior to leaving the first time. Pretty sure he knows what he wants from them.

Great news. Aaron Glenn, Mike Nolan, & Ryan Nielsen were great hires. Completely changed the defense. Allen over Rob Ryan is an upgrade as well.

Dan Campbell & Curtis Johnson were great hires on the offensive side of the ball. Hopefully Campbell doesn't bolt to Minnesota to be their OC.

Our new special teams coach didn't get great production, but it was at least average. I'll take that over Greg McMahon & his product. That shite was just flat out embarrassing.

CSP has done a great job of rebuilding his coaching staff in a short amount of time.

Per Bruce Feldman. Hope they don’t go after Aaron Glenn.

I wonder how many games we would have won with Vitt and company this year. 7?
