Some lib on another message board thinks this is the big gotcha.

What's a good response to This?

Wray knows that when people feel betrayed by their government bad things can happen.

He doesn’t want to have to deal with the fallout that would come from this.

Everyone wants to preside over the rise of something, not its fall.

He's achieved the pinnacle of his career as the head of an org that is potentially about to be shite on, making his life a lot more miserable. It's not rocket science.

even if it hurts the agency short term it should be something he supports.
Hope he is not going to cover for the bad apples.

Because, if it’s exposed that FBI agents obtained warrants under false pretenses all the cases these agents worked on come into question and going forward their credibility is blown the frick up. It’s a massive black eye on the FBI.

I think he is putting on a show and to show support the FBI, if he really was against it, he would walk..

Because he's loyal to the FBI not the American people.
Wray's lost his way and he's not the man for the FBI during this purge of the Swamp, he's sided with the Swamp because they all are buds from way back.

Is he opposing the release?

I mean, this is undoubtedly going to be a nightmare for the FBI's reputation.

They know that the FBI will lose all credibility when this comes out and he will be forced to fire everyone remotely associated with any of these investigations including all of the Hillary investigations.

The memo names names. The info in the memo is sourced and he knows it will drip out over time and add credability. His only play is to try and hide the names from the public. Behind closed doors, that has been his entire focus.....to get the names of corrupt agents redacted.

He is the head of an agency that throughout its history has had a pretty good reputation for integrity and impartiality, and that's all falling apart and rife with corruption and bias in the upper echelons of the bureau.

He knows who the bad apples are , but wants to deal with this internally and attempt to keep it out of the news cycle to save the reputation of the bureau. He would like this scandal to die down, then let the guilty parties quietly resign to save face.

But that shite ain't happening. These people should be, and will be investigated and charged with the crimes they have committed.

Wray learned ALL about this from Comey and Muller before he ever got the job. He knew about much of it BEFORE he was confirmed.
Once he got in, he learned EVERYTHING.
He is a deep state actor. He’s another Comey/Muller/ Rosenstein.
There is NOTHING he would have loved more than to be the HERO of the left and never Trumper republicans by showing how straight laced and principled he is by putting the man that hired him in prison. He would have been the hero after the Trump supporters were run out of town.
Wray WAS NOT Trump’s man. He was put in by the establishment to placate the McCain faction of the congress. You have to remember the times this happened in. MUH RUSSIA was blowing up and 8 different committees started MUH RUSSIA investigations all within a month or two of his conformation. HE IS NOT A TRUMP SUPPORTER. He’s Rosenstein’s man.
Wray WILL be caught up in the cover up. Wray will be found to have KNOWN of MORE text and emails between Muller’s Team about Trump and Wray will be found to have helped Muller against Trump.
He doesn’t want this to come out. This will at the least cost him HIS job and at worst make him an accessory to the cover up or even to knowingly allowing false entrapment and false allegations against the President to continue for his own personal gain and ambition.
WRAY IS A DIRTY McCain/ Rubio/ Rosenstein/ Muller establishment crooked rino. He needs to hang with them.
