Best Practices: Drunk Friend Goes Down at Concert

So I’m at the House of Blues. It’s right before the main act, and an older dude goes down right in front of me. His two friends just stare at him while we help him up. These guys are late fifties.
One minute later dude goes down again. His friends tell us to leave him alone, that he’ll be fine. They left him there on the floor while concert starts.
Were these guys a-holes? Seems to me if your friend passes out in an SRO venue, you get him out of there. What says the OT?

I drink like a maniac, but I've never had friends have to carry me out of a public place. Old man needs calm down on the drinking in public. Get hammered within collapsing distance of your own bed. Don't make your drinking someone else's responsibility. That is rude.
