I use Safari browser but apparently from what I have read, if you experience this problem changing the browser you use won’t correct the problem.

I have tried changing settings, clearing history, installing an ad blocker, etc. nothing has worked.

My iPhone is a 6S. Anyone else suddenly started having similar issues on a variety of websites? It appears to be driven by certain ads. Even tigerdroppings is giving me trouble on occasion but I am finding it difficult to find a site that doesn’t cause this issue at this rate.

It's not just phones it happened to me on a windows machine yesterday. I guessing the advertising this site uses has gotten a bad ad mixed in.

Most likely some ad network has a bad/poisoned ad. The ad is likely a targeted ad that matches with your online “profile” via cookies so it’s getting served to you often on any website that uses that ad network.

The amazon gift card BS ad redirect is a frequent offender. This is becoming maddening

I was having this same issue over the last few weeks. Installed 1Blocker free from the App Store and it’s stopped
