I have shot at public ranges for years and never saw any idiots there. I have seen plenty that couldnt sight in a gun with 2 boxes of bullets but nobody acting crazy. I only go during week days, early in the morning so Im sure it makes a difference. The range I go to now has a yearly membership of $100 and during the weekdays I am the only person on the range.

Ha, really think that doesn't make a difference? Go to the range about noon on a Saturday and tell me how safe it feels.

There's always some yahoo there on the weekends that has played too many video games and or Uncle Rico's his Seal team story.
