Have one in the camp. Maybe 2. Took over a camp in the spring. There was snake skin in a back bedroom with a bad floor. Blocked the room off for the time being. Went inside yesterday and there was skin in the hall outside kids bedroom and on the floor in my bedroom.

Doesn’t bother me that much since it’s harmless and controls pest except, I’m gonna lose my shite when it’s time to get dressed and I? have a 5 foot rat snake in my bibs, jacket, or come in drunk ready to pass out and it’s in the covers with me.

So, anyone know how to eradicate it or catch it?

Lay long strips of duct tape sticky side up in the places you would expect it to slither.....once it is wrapped in duct tape it won't be able to slither away and you can remove it.

****When the snake gets on the tape it will roll and wrap itself with the tape.****

If you catch him alive go throw him in my camp. I have a couple mice that keep eating my food.

Hang a live mouse from pet store about 4 or 5 inches off the ground with a small treble hook zip tied to it. He will be there when you get back.

Catching mice at the camp used to be one of my favorite parts of being there. Sticky traps kinda put an end to it though. One would scream and the rest would come running.

Agreed.

Just look everywhere he could be and take him outside. Then fix your floor.

You don't have a snake problem, you have a mouse/rat problem

Get a minnow trap and put a live mouse in it. The mouse wont be able to get out and the snake will get in to get the mouse and get trapped.
