Clearly they don't know how bad our AD is at negotiating.

out of those that are pictured on the hot seat who would you replace O with?

Who wouldn't you replace him with? Hell, even Butch Jones, goofball that he is, has won multiple bowl games. O will need a miracle just to get bowl eligible.

Hell, I'd take Jim Mora. Get him a good DC and we'll roll with all that Louisiana talent. Even though it's a Cali school, the funding for football and facilities at UCLA is VASTLY different from USC. An excuse, sure, whatever, but I do know the man knows how to run a pass offense. His one bad year (last year) was when he lost his starting QB (over 3600 yards and 23 TDs as a true freshman) and what made that even worse was that he lost 4 of his top 5 pass catchers and his 1340 yard 14 TD rusher. From his team the year before.

Anyway he took a team that didn't have more than 7 wins in 6 years, who went 6-8 and 4-8 the two previous years before him, and went 9-5 his first year. He took a team that was anywhere from awful to mediocre passing the ball, into a passing juggernaut. A redshirt freshman by the name of Brett Huntley passed for 3740 yards and 29 TDs with another 350 yards and 9 TDs on the ground. He had a starting runner get 1740 yards and 13 TDs. He then followed that up with back to back 10 win seasons.

He's another guy I'd want to get on the coaching search.

List matters not. With that buyout, Rosy Finch Boyz is here for at least a couple of years. Not sure what will be left of the program then but that's where we're at...

Until Lacrosse Joe is fired it doesn’t matter since he would then just frick up the “search” again.

Jesus. So LSU will end up paying this guy to retire from CFB.

What the heck are UMASS's expectations that their coach is that high up on the Hot Seat list?

Oh look, a list of potentially available coaches that Joe can get to considering.

Sumlin is way too low on that list.

Agree with that articles except that I don't see how we get to 5 or 6 wins with how we are currently playing. UT and Florida are the two worst teams on our schedule and they are away games. Arkansas, Ole Miss, and the Aggies could feasibly beat us as well. We're not defeating Auburn or Alabama.

Not only is Alleva to blame for the $12M buyout, but F King and the BOS signed off on it. What does that tell you that No One in the chain of command at LSU thought to stop for a moment and ask Joe what the hell he was thinking.
