So we paid Canada $1.5 Million to now scale back and probably run same offense as Ensminger. Nice return of investment.

How much would you pay him?

Canada came in year one with Pitt last year and was successful. They hung 70 on Syracuse. They were able to grasp his offense.

What does it say about LSU players when Canada has to simplify the playbook?

If it makes us better this season then is able to implement more of his offense with another and they continue to get better then that would be great.

Bringing back the toss dive...

This offense is on the exact same level as a Miles/Cameron offense.

my interpretation =
WE NEED TO SIMPLIFY THE O EVEN MORE .. THE LINE IS NOT ALLOWING ENOUGH TIME FOR WHAT WE HAVE NOW.

I'm not sure how much simpler the offense can get. My sainted mother can call out 9/10 plays.

Could Pitt offensive line block?

The question is: Does that mean less spread or less 2-3 tight-end formations?

I guess our fans just refuse to acknowledge that we have no talent on the offensive line nor the way that fact effects everything on offense. There are two Super Bowl winning QBs in the NFL who have a combined record of 1-5 right now because of their offensive lines. Both teams were in the playoffs last season and had high expectations this year but can't move the football because of their olines. The point is it doesn't matter how good your skill position talent or OC is with a poor oline nobody can be successful.

Does she call out the route concepts? Because that would be talented. Anybody can watch any team and guess run or pass before a play and be right majority of the time.

You'd be surprised. She was a coach's wife for 25 years. She's forgotten more football than most people will ever know.
