Payton also said he plans to play Ted Ginn this weekend. Ginn was not at practice today

I was told that Lattimore was a bust who wouldn't see the field for months, though.

And what happens if the reason he hasn't been practicing is because he has a legitimately torn ACL?

Something about this story stinks. This can't be all about the incompetence of the Saints' doctors. I suspect they're being smeared to cover the strength and conditioning/coaching staff/front office's/ asses with both the Saints and the Pelicans. Or to have a reason to cut a guy for malingering so they don't have to pay out an injury settlement, at least as far as the Saints are concerned.

How do you say something is a bruise and it's really a broken leg? That's elementary stuff. Those doctors can't be that bad. Something smells.

If he legitimately tore his ACL, I doubt CSP would say that he has a good chance to play against the Chargers this week. CSP would be setting himself up to look like a complete jackass in that scenario.

Could be a partial tear which is what Tannehill had last year.

Kind of hard to know what to believe after the shite that happened today, but it's been reported from the beginning that Lattimore has been sitting out because of a minor knee injury.

I'd be very worried if it was his ACL though(even a partial tear). Hopefully the initial report about the knee was correct.
