We have been out coached. Florida showed up to play and played great on all cylinders. This entire CWS has been poorly coached. Bunt calls when we should have been swinging away, swInging away when we should be bunting, and way to many hit and run calls when we didn't need to. We pitched very well this CWS and that is why we got
to where we are. Not saying fire CPM but I wouldn't be unhappy with it. Our guys weren't ready.

On the bright side, it's now time to turn our attention to football.

We were outPLAYED mostly. At the end of the day the plays have to be made and it was rough sledding from the start.

Dude, Florida had their starter for game 3 up in the pen in a 2-1 game with a runner at 1st and 3rd with no outs...twice...all while their closer was spent.

Florida won. But, it wasn't some mastery of coaching.

Honestly, your post is definitely a melt. Either that or you just don't know what you are seeing.

I think you are right.

Not bunting Duplantis in the 8th after that disaster in the 7th is pretty unforgivable.

Changes the entire complexion of the game .

They obviously were trying to end the series tonight and not take it to tomorrow. I know baseball. We were out coached and out played in THIS SERIES!
And to the poster above, I said I'm not calling for him to be fired I'm simply saying I wouldn't be upset. I am thrilled with the season. Have had two relatives play for him including the all time saves leader. CPM is a fine coach.

Yes you are. It's ok. He's the Les Miles of the Baseball program. Nice guy. Won a title. Lost one to a conference rival after winning the SEC Title that same year (a little different). Consistently ranked in the top 10 heading into pre and post season. Top recruiting classes and yet it always feels like the teams underachieved.

Moving on is probably the right decision ultimately. Do you wait 10 years between titles? Do you wait 4.5 years from tonight to see if he wins one? Or do you take advantage of the best fans in college baseball and go get the best coach and recruiter in the sport? In this case, we are the #1 job in the country.

LSU played great last night given the circumstances.

Tonight not so much.

This loss wasn't due to coaching. Quit being so emotional and be more logical.
