Ok so I think I narrowed my search down to 2 zero turns. I have 5 acres that I cut. Not all smooth areas, has some rough areas.
Can't make my mind up between following mowers.
Need help.
Looking at Gravely ZTHD 60 inch cut with 26 hp Kohler and Exmark Radius E Series 60 inch cut with Exmark engine 24.5 ho.
Help me decide. Thanks

I have an Ex Mark Lazer Z 60 and my father in law has a Gravely 60. I prefer mine over his, but both are beast...dont think you will regret getting either. Go sit on both, whichever feels more comfy for you is probably the one to go with.

If these are your final options- 100% Gravely.
Our club has had 2 Exmarks and they always have problems & parts arent readily available.
That said, Ive got a Scag Tiger Cat for my house and love it.

We cut as a side business and run 2 Gravelys - Xl42 and my buddy has a HD52 great machines easy to self service and we haven't done a thing to them except scheduled maintenance.

Any of the commercial mowers with the welded deck and hydraulic pumps will last forever if you're just mowing your yard and not using it commercially. I have an Exmark Laser Z, but only because my dealer is a few miles away. I HIGHLY recommend one with a Kawasaki engine though. I have put mine through hell and back and I really don't think ill ever kill it. Just don't get lazy on the air filter and oil changes, and new plugs and fuel filter once a year.

I have a gravely zt42. I have used it trouble free for 2 years. Still cuts great. Still the original battery. I leave it covered outside and never had it not start.
Last month I looked at exmark for my parents and was about to buy but went with a gravely for $300 less. The models I was looking at are close in comparison so I went with gravely because of my experience with mine. Also, the service/dealer is here in town unlike exmark.

Which dealership gives better service? I'd lean toward exmark. Cleaner cut quality.

Try BAMS Enterprises for the Gravely, on the north shore.
Good people. Tellem Sid sent you.
Excellent service.

I've put a 52" commercial Gravely thru 9 kinds of hell for the last 10 years. It has been a beast of a machine. Can't speak for Exmarks, but Gravelys are tough as nails.

I've bought a gravely 260 series with 60 inch deck last year for my 4 acres. It's efi Kohler and is a beast and as stated previously, a beast of a machine. Built like a damn tank.
