Are pay boards worth it?

just curious if the info there (not even just related to recruiting) is worth it

No because people on those boards share the Pay info as soon as its posted and Tigerdroppings does nothing about it. If they would ban some people IPs then it would stop and be worth it for pay customers but until that stops I wouldnt bother signing up.

Not to me. I had 247 during the 5 for 5 fiasco. They had all 5 signing with LSU

It depends what you want. You will get the gist of the news here. If you want lots of in-and-outs I think they are.
I'm part of 2... tigerblitz.com (for basketball) and geaux247.com (for football).

This is what happens. On this site you will read things like "We are 100% getting Dwayne Haskins" or "Stephen Sullivan will not sign with LSU" and then the pay sites will say "Haskins to Ohio St. and Sullivan will sign with LSU". EasternRio came on here and said we were getting Deandre Christmas Giles last cycle. The pay sites said he wasn't even a take. It goes on and on. The amount of dead wrong information on this board is amazing. Here is an example recently on Austin Deculus
This isn't close to being true. Deculus told paid sites in an interview as long as Grimes was at LSU, he would be here. Posters here say something like this and others run with it and for whatever reason it just becomes a fact because some guy just said it. It happens over and over again. Please tell me who wasn't wrong about 5 for 5 btw.

I was a member of a pay site for years. Really didn't have any more reliable info than TD. In reality, it may be that there is no such thing as "inside information" in the way most want.
The coaches aren't talking, the kids are kids and other "sources" don't know squat. Just my take on it.
