According to Portugal´s sports publication ´A Bola´, Mourinho plans on taking advantage of Benzema´s delicate situation in Madrid.
I believe this is the way it´s being sold, and all the hand holding, etc., that went on to avoid sacking him and paying out an exhorbitant indemnization, was to ensure this possible Benzema move and simultaneous Falcao entry.

That's harsh, especially after some of the comments in this thread. Current Karim Benzema who is playing like he ate preseason Kevin Prince-Boateng is grossly overrated. Karim Benzema, on his day, is an excellent player, though.

I think he, like Mesut, has partly been a victim of Real Madrid's change in philosophy over the past year.
His partnership w/Mesut and Ronaldo two years ago was otherworldly. He needs to go to fat camp again.
