This thread is a great example of why this is the worst board on TD. ShamelessPel is just mind numbing

Great. Just great. You ruined my hump day now. I thought, man I REALLY thought I was doing great. But then you come in here with that tough love of yours and make me re-think everything.

I'll put you in that number that believes that Drummond actually has higher upside than Davis.

The only real "mind-numbing" part of this conversation is the fact that we are having a conversation about the ceiling of Andre Drummond and his potential to be a top 3 player in this league.

Wow.

1 fricking pick away from a Davis/Drummond draft.

You don't know they wouldn't have drafted Rivers, though.

Remember the guy that supposedly overheard Demps at a coffee shop or something. Lilard and Drummond were both mentioned and Rivers wasn't 1) if I remember correctly and 2) if that wasn't just some complete BS rumor the guy made up.

I'm pretty sure they would have jumped all over Drummond at 10 over Rivers. Monty kept mentioning size and athleticism that offseason, plus it is apparent winning last year wasn't very high on the priority list.

just to clarify, they are saying that after 3 years in the league, Wiggins, who hasn't played a minute in college, will be the 8th best player in the league at about 21 years old

Why are you laughing? LeBron, DRose and a lot of other players were top 8 4 years out of HS!

...Wiggins still hasn't played a minute in college. We have no idea how he will adjust.

Based on what I have seen he is a top 20 player in the NBA right now!

Wiggins was in a tougher league, but his high school numbers aren't very impressive. He should have dominated.

23/11/2/2/2 on 59/36/60

He is an incredible athlete but he is still very raw.

I find the Jonas Valenciunas (18) and Serge Ibaka (19) picks interesting...

Andre Drummond is overrated, has anyone seen his free throw percentage? I thought it was a typo, but no he is just that bad. He can only shoot below the rim just because of his sheer size. Anthony davis is developing a mid range jumper, can make put backs, has some guard skills, can put down alley oops like crazy, great pick and roll game and is a premier defensive shot blocker. All, Drummond can do is shot below the rim and collect rebounds there. He is good but Davis has a more developed game and has just about the highest ceiling of any nba player. Also, once anthony davis bulks up, which there should be no rush to do considering kevin Garnett was davis' size while he was in his prime (so it can be done with the weight he currently has), davis will be by far better than Drummond. I put Davis at 2. Kevin Durant at 1. Lebron at 4 or 5,
