I just tried logging in to the NBC online streaming thing with my cox cable login (I have every channel possible), but it said I didn't have access to the live videos

Are you talking about the NBC Sport Live Extra app? I just logged on with my Cox account and started watching The Golf Channel live.

can you link me to it?

Looks like Cox will show Liverpool/Stoke at 6:45 and Arsenal Villa at 9 on NBC SN HD. (CST)
The rest of the games will be online and on the app.

I talked to another Cox rep(since the first one earlier this week didn't know a thing).
It looks like its NBC sports and online this weekend. Something different is supposed to start the weekend of the 24th, but he wasn't exactly sure about the details.
hopefully thats when they'll add the overflow channels.

Here's a guide I found. A little complex, but I'll quote relevant stuff for this weekend.

What about the extra time channels?
Posted on 8/16/13 at 4:15 pm to Broski
From what the Cox guy told me, no extra channels this weekend. Whether its true or not, I have no idea. They really seem to have zero idea.
He got his manager, I spent fifteen minutes on hold, etc.
The only thing he sees about it is that the weekend of the 24th, something different is happening.

Cox FB reply to me telling them they were driving people to Direct and Dish
Mark, Thank you very much for your feedback! In most Cox locations, Cox will provide the English Premier League overflow games beginning August 24th. Additionally Cox will make all of the overflow games available via the NBC Sports app which will be available to customers on August 5th. I have submitted a request for both channels on your behalf.
eta: the "both channels" refers to me asking about BEIN

You're doing the lords work. I was just gonna tweet them a bunch of hate mail about live extra and bein and saw they tweeted this 38 seconds ago.

Oh shite, I thought the app was called something else.

What's worse, apparently the app doesn't fricking support air play.
