Just became available in LA in the last couple of weeks. Good beer.

I first had fat tire in Baton Rouge at least 5 years ago. Perhaps it is just now making its way around other parts of the state.

I really like the New Belgium lineup. However, I think Fat Tire tastes a lot like Abita Amber. It isn't a bad thing, but it just depends on what your preference is.

Some of my favorites are their Ranger IPA, Abbey Ale, and 1554.

It was not sold in Louisiana in any large quantity before now. I have been a fan of New Belgium for a long time and hated that they did not sell in La.

1) Food and Drink Board will have way more information than here.
2) New Belgium first became available in louisiana for purchase 2 or 3 weeks ago.

I'm not a fan of Fat Tire, but will be happy to see it (and drink it) in places that don't have many other options.

Same here. I remember liking it a long time ago. Last year, was visiting the fiancee's sister in Texas, and had some at a bar. It was bad. Really bad. Because of that, i still haven't bought any new belgium beers since they came to LA.

If i had a choice between only fat tire and abita amber, i'm going abita.

And i've had ranger IPA. Don't care for it.

Not really impressed with NB either. Fat Tire has this biscuity taste I'm not a fan of and Ranger just was t very good.

I'd pick Abitas amber and Spring IPA over FT and ranger

They had a Wit named "Mothership" that was out of this world (pun intended). Seriously was my favorite brew of theirs but they discontinued it last year.

Sucks. The Sunshine Wheat is a pretty good substitute, though.

Their Abbey Ale is absolutely my favorite. I love that beer.

I like Fat Tire. I rather it over Abita Amber, it's just a notch above that imo. But it is an amber, which is typically a pretty boring beer. But highly drinkable. I feel like NB is giving us better stuff than Abita does. I don't care for the Spring IPA at all.

I share your sentiments.

I would purchase a couple cases if it was for sale at 9 dollars a case here.

They had the bomber for 9 dollars at my local place.
I LMAO

$3.75/bomber at Leblanc's in Gonzales
The Londoner charged me $8 for a bomber.

My current favorite. I feel like a refined gentleman while imbibing in this one.
