Allen Benton bacon in a brownie...interesting texture and balance of sweet and salty. It is a dessert that really makes you think rather than just being a sweet finish to a meal.

I had a mint julep last time that was really good. I have also had a great sazerac there.

There is an app...shrimp on top of a cake or something that is always on the menu and really good.

Most of the menu changes seasonally.

Ask for the trio of desserts. Bacon brownie, Krispy Kreme bread pudding and thai chile chocolate pie. Very knowledgeable bartenders as well.

Are great.

Best brisket in NO by far. Some of the best fries as well.

If they have the Fudge Farms pork chop it is a must get IMO.

Is hit or miss.

Other ppl have raved about it but my piece had very little to no bacon in it so it was too heavy and sweet w/o the salty smokey bacon to cut it.

I like the thai chile pie better. They are both good IMO.
