Damn - I forgot about this scene. It was good frick that bitch.

Doing my 4th rewatch now 2 episodes from finishing season 1. Best show ever on TV to this day.

Amazing how its still so relevant now that technology has passed it by.

I remember seeing a while back (probably on some aggregator site) that s4 is the most critically acclaimed

S3 and S4 are interchangeable for me, a tier above the rest.

Clearly you haven't gotten to Nicky's ole lady's boobs yet.

S2 is FAR better on rewatch for me. It's one of the weaker seasons, but still very good, which just speaks to the quality of the show.

Agree. Sad but gritty realism in the treatment of the street kids. Really gets to you if you’re dialed in.

Never realized how horrific inner city public schools are until I watched Season 4 of The Wire. Yikes.
My aunt worked in the public school system in New Orleans. She quit after the 2nd time she was punched by a student.

I went to a public school in Cenla, one day a kid brought a 40 into class and started fighting the teacher when he confronted him about it.

Bodie’s ending had me. Him and McNaughty sitting together pondering how they got there was epic.

Rewatching "The Wire" for the 6th time and the opening of Season 2 Episode 4 feature the Key Bridge.

For those who have never driven over it!

Finished it last night...Did anyone notice Rawls in the Gay Bar when they were looking for Omar?

First time I noticed that! Rawls is GAY...not that there is anything wrong with that!

Was gonna hold his corner, be damned.

For OP, I worked in a PLA school at the time I saw the school season. As said, some liberties were taken (and Baltimore was worse off than we were) but it wasn’t too far off.

I am almost disappointed you didn't notice this. ??

It definitely was out the blue. Maybe he wanted to have a drink in peace

Just here to post that season 2 is what hooked me into the show. I loved the union life and story. The guys struggling to get work. Resorting to doing some dirty stuff to make a decent living.

Not to mention, how all the drugs are making it there. Fkn great season in my book.
