will be in LR for a few days. Any suggestions on good restaurants/bars?

My advice is centered on downtown restaurants:
Brood and Barley
Lost 40 (or nearby sister restaurant Camp Taco)
Raduno
The Root
Flyway Brewing
Three Fold
Buenos Aires Bar & Grill

Thank you! I will be downtown. Any good steakhouses or fancier places you can recommend?

Sonny Williams is THE steakhouse downtown. Had dinner there last week and it was solid. If you want to eat in the bar, there are TVs it's usually got a lively (but not obnoxious) crowd.
Allsopp and Chapelle is another solid finer dining spot.
Cache is across the street from Sonny Williams, but I've never been impressed.
And Samantha Tap Room is another more upscale spot, but not as fancy as the other three.

Screw these fo-fo places got get what you can't get in La...good Mexican food! Gorditas Paty on Colonel Glen rd has a great Mole Pobblano that will rock your socks plus other great dishes. El Super Pollo on baseline rd has great grill chicken and best charro beans North of the Rio Grande Valley!

It is in North LR just across the river. Recently went with locals who love it, and it was very good. Nice bar/gastropub type place.
Samantha’s Taproom and Wood Grill is a good choice in LR downtown area.
Take the trolley ride to get a look at downtown LR as well as the cool part of North Little Rock.

The wife and I like Cache. The drinks are top notch.

Watch North LR , Tax on liquor is huge, north of 15% can’t remember exactly just
It was high. I saw a guy once had three martinis and it was $100 with out the tip.

Some good recs in here. I like alsopp & chaple. Samantha’s also good in the area (downtown). Radunos has good pizza. If you want fast dumpling/noodles (like for a quick lunch), 3Fold is good.
Not downtown, but I enjoyed Cypress Social - a little far from where you’ll be though. Across the River in NLR, I’ve enjoyed Capeo for Italian.
