Anyone have on ground experience with Verizon cell phone coverage in central North Dakota, specifically outside of the cities? Enough signal for a hotspot in most areas?
Looking to work remote for a week there while hunting.

See how that map shows service in southwest TN?
At my house, they had to send me a booster because my service is so bad.
Moral of the story, is, that map is crap
OP, you may want to consider starlink.

I am aware of the coverage maps. Also aware they are not accurate.
Specifically asking for on ground experience.

I traveled through South Dakota several years ago. I have Verizon and don’t recall having any issues.

TBH, I used that map to bump up your thread since no one replied. It worked.

All of my experience is East of Bismarck and I have ATT so it might not help much but I have never had problems in town and along the interstates but service would typically get spotty when you get deep into the ag lands.

Leeds, ND, I had good service even when I was out hunting.

I had service in the middle of Wyoming, far off the pavement, and a long way from town. You should be fine. Take a Wilson booster for cars with you if you’re worried.

Don’t know where you’re going but I got to Fredonia, ND every year and my att cell phone gets nothing but my Verizon hot spot has strong enough signal for me and four others to use as Wi-Fi at same time and to stream TV at night.

I’m looking at the area right down the road in Edgeley. Thanks for the info.

Not sure about ND, but I have Verizon and get better coverage in the sparse hills of east Montana than I do at my home in the middle of slidell.

Edgeley has good service for Verizon and ATT. ATT goes to nothing west of the windfarm.

Kid you not, I had better service with my Verizon phone in Bosnia in April than I do here in MS.
