This looks like a team destined for rock bottom. Salary cap hell, awful qb room, awful ownership/management, and a really bad HC. It may be a better question to ask about the next 10 years.

Next 5 years?

Yes.

23? Nope

24? not likely but it's not impossible due to all of the variables.

As shitty as we were, like 5 plays go differently and we win the division. Every team in our division will be worse next year. I think it’s not out of the question we win the NFC South.

In short yes almost 100% chance we make them within 5 years.

Competent game management would have had us at 9-10 wins this year. Don't let Dennis Allen fool you into thinking we don't have a super talented team.

Correct, but based on this board you would think we were Texans bad.

Off the top of my head:

Ingram fumble vs Tampa
Kamara fumble 6 @ Carolina
Lutz double doink vs Minnesota
Defense forgetting how to tackle vs Cinci
Dalton pick 6's @ Arizona
Kamara fumble @ San Fran
Ingram running OB @ Tampa

eliminate half the shite above and we win the division

This is what bothers me the most. This team is a contender but the crap trades and picks at qb don’t show for a great future.

What worries me is that the division is so bad, while we can take it, it puts us in no man land for a Qb while the other 3 might be so bad they'll find theirs sooner.

I trust the front office in acquiring talent, I won't deny they're actually good enough to do that. I don't trust their ability to get a QB.

Historically, this is a pretty bad division anyway. Before Brady showed up there were a few years where it was the Saints, then everyone below .500. And, when the Saints were struggling, Carolina won the division once with a losing record, and Atl ran away with the division for the 28-3 season while everyone else was sub .500

So, once you remove Brady, unless Carolina has a quick revamp; we could be back to a time with rotating division champs, and 1 team around 10 wins while everyone else is 7 or less.

Add the bullshite penalty on Honeybadger in London that kept the drive alive for the Vikings and that sums it up

If we get an above average qb and better O line play, we'll win the division next year.

I knew there was something else from that game but couldn't remember what it was.
