Are the Tigers the biggest underdogs in SECG history?
Posted by 308

I would think so. I think the line is up to GA -17.5.
p.s. Call me crazy, but I think LSU is going to be extremely competitive and may even pull it off.

I remember 2001 when Tenn was an overwhelming favorite over 3-loss LSU. Tenn was on their way to the BCS NCG in the Rose Bowl. LSU lost its starting qb in 2ndQ and beat the Vols 31-20 with a 25-year old backup!

Florida in 2016 had to be pretty close.

Arkansas in 1995 and 2002 had to be up there.

This has the lines from 1992 thru 2013.
UF -24 against the hogs in 95.
It also says Tenn -7 in 2001. That seems low. I was at that game and none of us thought we has a chance.

That was an awesome SECCG. I think I’m going to rewatch it.

never would have predicted this spread - 2013 Mizzou - 2 vs. AUB .. final score 59-42 War Eagle . Tre Mason went OFF for 304 yds

Not true. LSU was a 7-point underdog in that game. LSU had lost by 8 points to Tennessee, in Knoxville, earlier that season (26-18).
