Just a quick fact: LSU has not beaten Auburn by more than 5 points in Jordan-Hare since 1998. I agree the offense was horrendous on Saturday, but I would not be surprised if it’s our worst performance of the year.

This is probably the worst Auburn team in 30 years.

The constant attempts to rationalize a bad performance by Daniels is taking us back to the Miles era.

Let’s face it, this QB room is not good. Nuss most likely will not give us any more improvement than Daniels as he’s proven to not be consistent. Daniels legs are the best option right now.

We are 4-1. Constantly bitching about QB play is not going to change anything. You would be very happy with this start considering we have 39 scholarship players and a WR playing QB in the bowl game.

If this was year 3 or 4 of the Kelly era and we put out that offensive performance then you might have a point. But he got left a bare cupboard. There are no good options at QB right now. Nuss looked like a JV player against Southern, Daniels is inconsistent, and Howard isn’t ready (we assume).

The comparisons to Miles are silly.

Uh no. They aren’t good but they aren’t as bad as 2012

Not really. Daniels has been serviceable in every other game so far. He isn't a great passer but neither is Nuss and JD at least can run around and occasionally make something happen.

You realize one can acknowledge both that JD had a bad game and that AU always plays LSU hard regardless of circumstances, right?

It’s a hard fought, gritty game every year and has been for decades. The two years we had Burrow, we beat them by 1 and 3 points.

Irrespective of JD’s performance, getting out of J-H stadium with a win is impressive.
