Are these happening a lot or is the negative news just being their negative selves? We have a flight from Houston to Montana on the 2nd and I’m wondering if I should be nervous or not.

It's from holiday staffing shortages, people using COVID as an excuse to not go to work at the end of the year, and weather. It should get better after the holidays again. Delta is having a rough time here in Seattle this weekend/today

I am sure some are using this as an excuse, but not all of us are. I was to go on the road Monday, and woke up sick as hell Sunday night. After having been at home for several weeks, I was looking forward to going to work. I also have several buddies in the same boat. It sucks for all parties involved.

Because they were already short handed from staff cuts and now Omicron is running rampant through their workforces.

We got lucky. Flew from NOLA to Miami, then to Saint Martin on Wednesday. No problems or delays. Flying can be an adventure these days.
