More like he seems extremely competent & in-step with Woodward / is a massive upgrade over King... who btw apparently saw countless scandals under his watch.

But by all means, continue melting because a vested community leader is open about having an interest in uplifting his culture... which happens to include the majority of our student athletes.

Welp. There it is. Yeah bro, that’s concerning for a university president. If his desire is to make minority groups perform better compared to their own past performance then good on him. But gtfo if that’s ever been the goal.

Maybe its just my degenerate South Louisiana genetics kicking, but whenever I see this term, my first thought is "a-hole"

Tate can be congratulated on staying out Woodward's way, I guess. He seems to be on the right track when it comes to the renaming of campus buildings. A quick search of his twitter shows that he is on the path to embracing Louisiana culture.

But were not even a full year in with this guy. Let's give it a bit more before we crown him as best president ever (that title goes to Mark Emmert by the way)
