A woman who had a baby two months ago is a raging mass of confusing hormones. EVERYONE who loves her should be in support mode to help her through this traumatic event. You behaved selfishly. It's about her, not you.

If you truly are revolted by holding babies (there's something wrong with you), then you could have handled it by saying how beautiful the baby is, that you are uncomfortable holding a fragile child, and you can see it better if someone else holds it near you. And then make a point of showing the baby and your sister attention.

My guess is that you are a little peeved that for once someone else is the center of attention in your family.
