This is just confusing. I won't pretend that it's fair that programs like USL get raided for coaches constantly, but there's no way that they thought Billy Napier would actually still be their coach in 2022 right? Him making it to 2021 in the first place was a minor miracle.

No lol it's even more insane than that.
They're not mad that they lost their coach. They're mad that LSU didn't want him.
They have legitimately convinced themselves that LSU desperately wanted napier but he "played us" as leverage to get a bigger deal out of florida, because LSU is such a bad program. They have similarly convinced themselves that Brian Kelly was desperately calling Florida's AD trying to get an offer, but that Florida turned him down in favor of Napier.
You might think to yourself "there is no possible way anyone could be that delusional". I wish that was the case.
