prosecutor having Officer Luckey describe how the deceased was fighting them after realizing he was going to jail

the telestrator in this case is a lot more useful than the laser pointer in the Rittenhouse case

defense attorney doing a great job getting Ofc. Luckey to basically say shooting could've been justified anyway... even if Potter wasn't meaning to pull a taser

officer on the stand right now was listening to conservative talk radio at the moment he got to the scene (the wreck that happened right in front of him following the shooting)

This has been quite interesting case....I cant imagine they dont get her with manslaughter, even though the shooting was totally justified in that her fellow officer was at risk by being dragged by the car speeding away.

Why go to trial? It's clear cut negligent homicide.
Not if she was justified in the use of lethal force.

which the 1st officer the prosecution called basically said on cross... Officer Luckey... saying there was an officer in the car whose safety was in danger

prosecutor's game plan in this trial... show dead body as often as defense/judge will allow us to

state's evidence showing the deceased reaching for the shifter to put the car into gear with an officer in the car
that... wouldn't be good for the state right?
why's the state showing it?

going into sidebar as the prosecution is trying to attack that in the moments after the shooting Potter asked to speak to her union rep (who she would talk to in order to get a lawyer following an officer-involved shooting)
prosecution trying to get around her 6th amendment rights
ETA: judge tells the prosecution to stop it... don't go there

prosecution witness just said (on cross... and I'm paraphrasing) "by state statute... Kimberly Potter had the right to use a firearm"
