Navy Ren Fest baw has been passed by the defense... prosecutor has no strikes to get rid of this guy so he will now try his damnedest to somehow get the potential juror dismissed with cause

judge has been telling the jurors that the trial will start on Wednesday
there will be a motions hearing on Monday, off day Tuesday should everything be settled Monday, trial begins Wednesday

I don't know that I can watch another trial with these prosecutors. If this is anything like what they did in the Chauvin trial it will be nothing but pleas to emotion.

This prosecutor is already stretching the truth here. She displayed the police policy about using a firearm against a vehicle and she only read one of the reasons it can be used. Also just said that "mere flight...is not a good use for using a taser" leaving out the portion stating "without other factors..." It's ridiculous. Potter is most likely guilty of something, she killed a person whether by accident or not, but the state stretching these policies like this makes me want her to be found not guilty.

Officer Luckey was "restraining the gear shift" to keep the deceased from driving off... and if the deceased is able to get the car into gear... he would be able to drive away with an officer dangling out of the car... potentially doing harm or even causing the death of Officer Luckey
