This guy’s comments about Twitter’s recommendation system seem pretty innocuous though
Because you agree with the underlying goals, which consist of the erasure/banning of wrongthink and the suppression of alternate media outlets.

Let’s not beat around the bush here.

I mean yeah we don’t live in the AOL Nineties any more.
Therefore, let’s just do away with the idea of free and open discourse.

You progressives are truly regressive.

If Twitter is putting recommended tweets on my timeline I don’t want to see the Qanon stuff. It’s usually just comedians making jokes though. Honestly I really could do without the recommended tweets feature.

In terms of getting banned for “wrongthink” though this forum is much worse than Twitter. I’ve been suspended a couple of times for things that certainly did not violate this site’s published rules.

Yea, because that is the sole goal here.

Why are you regressive so disingenuous about their motives?

It isn’t as if Twitter has been hiding their viewpoints over the previous 4 years.

Twitter banned the sitting president.

And this board is about as akin to Twitter as Democratic Underground is.

Twitter became THE public square over its previous 4 years.

Talk about delusion.

And not a single person was banned from Twitter for posting “fake news” regarding the “Muh Russian” lies.

Decatur knows this.

He is just doing his best to gaslight for his regressive party.

I also love how you regressives pick one sentence out of an entire post to respond to.

It just goes to show your inability to put forth anything akin to a decent argument or discussion.

That is simply oversimplifying the regressive mindset.

It isn’t so much a “revenge” aspect as it is a “fear” one.

They fear the concept of deciding things for themselves, which is why they have such a drive to live within the “serf”-esque societies of yore.

It is far easier for them to live within a world of “mandates at the barrel of a gun” than anything else.

I’m not going to try to untangle what you mean by “Muh Russia” (which is typically a key for me to ignore the person who invokes this nonsense phrase).

Btw I got my first suspension here for posting a thread about a Washington Post article. Everything in the article was true.

Let your voices be peacefully heard. Such violent rhetoric. No wonder he was banned.

Also, this was a speech, not on Twitter. So you're OK with Twitter not only controlling their platform but also what happens offline?

That the previous administration colluded with the Russians to win the election, something which won journalists Pulitzer Prizes.

Also something which has been thoroughly disproven, up to the point where the NYT and Washington Post have had to place disclaimers on said Pulitzer Prize articles about their factual nature.

God damn, you regressives are so unbelievably disingenuous.

Start referring to Decatur as “Danchenko”.

Then again, I doubt he even knows who Igor Danchenko is, if he still believes the Russian collusion nonsense.

DOJ definitely had cause to investigate whether members of Trump’s campaign were coordinating anything with Russian intelligence. Carter Page was a known Russian intelligence asset and Paul Manafort’s parter was a Russian intelligence officer. Russians hacked a whole bunch of people and used Wikileaks to spread that information in order to help Trump win. I’m glad we investigated and indicted when there was a criminal case to be made.
