From what I’ve noticed, ND tries to play very complimentary football. Doesn’t put their defense in tough spots, doesn’t turn it over, and typically a little more ball control. Does that change with the caliber of athlete Kelly will be dealing with here? I think so, I think we move more towards a power run spread. It will work well with the type of O-Lineman Kelly can bring in, there’s no doubt he knows how to build the trenches.

It'll be 5 big cornfed dudes averaging 6'5" and about 340 who look like viking gods, and bench press Volkswagens.

Yeah, Kelly's trenches will be unbelievable.

I said it earlier, but the one thing I miss about Miles was that he always had a monstrous, filthy, physical OL. LSU will have that again with BK.

BINGO, he plays with the cards he has been dealt and knows what's in the deck.

Now he has moved to a new table, one where he can recruit athletes on both sides of the ball who can consistently win 1v1 matchups (at any position) and make explosive plays that can swing the momentum of games.

IMO he needs a young OC to run our offensive attack. It will be interesting to see who he retains, other than Raymond and Faulk. Lot of work to be done still in the coming days.
