I expect Elko is more likely than Freeman.

He’s getting a HC job and it just might be ND

I would love it, but odds are he either gets the ND job, or Fickel does and he takes Cincy.

I’m so excited to see this staff fill out now.

Hope so, but he may get some smaller program head coaching offers this cycle, as well.

Freeman is awesome but I really feel like we've exhausted that avenue. He just doesn't seem to want to come to LSU.

He'll do great, whatever happens.

I agree, if ND goes for Fickell, and he would run to ND, then Freeman will either be retained as DC or get the Cincinnati job.

If not keep Jones. Defense was great the last half of the year.

He didn't want to tie his livelihood next to Coach O. Decided on Kelly instead. If ND gets Campbell I totally see Freeman coming to us

Jones really did impress in the home stretch with a depleted/young roster.

I'm good with Daronte hanging around if he wants.

Defense improved DRASTICALLY throughout the year

Maybe he just didn’t want to coach under O?

He didn’t want to be in Baton Rouge, but part of it was also working with Eddie O. Also, there’s some talk of maybe taking the HC job at ND.

I wish on everything Kelly can swing him though.

It wouldn't hurt my feelings if most of the Defensive staff remained. They stepped up bigly in the final stretch. It was more impressive when you consider how streaky the offense was.

I thought Andre Carter did a hell of a job with the D-line.
