Doesn't matter. He wanted no part of the SEC

Southern California. Despite all it's problems, it's a better quality of life for a baller, no matter what the homers on this board say

I think Riley was fed up at OU and genuinely believes in USC.

No real pressure to win NCs every year
Not having to play 8 SEC opponents every year
California weather and life style

Well for starters they actually asked him.

Didn’t they also buy a $6 million house for him and give him and his family unlimited use to a private jet? I realize that’s chump change for USC boosters, but good God.

$1

Because we weren’t matching. I don’t even believe there was a significant offer. Maybe feeling for interest, but I’m starting to believe we weren’t in negotiations when USC came into the picture.

I have seen this.
USC bought both his Norman houses at 500,000 above market.
USC bought him a 6 million dollar house in Cali.
24/7 access to private jet for his family as much as he wants.
Not fully sure about the contract have seen different things so will not conjecture.
