This may have been posted already but I just saw on twitter that Justin Vincent said the coach announcement would be Wednesday and that we would be very happy. Apparently said this on “Hold The Rope”. (assuming it’s a podcast)
He works for the Athletic Department so that seems pretty legit. Said he had to sign a NDA as well.

Yep. I think you can narrow the list down to not include coaches playing in championship games this weekend, if this is true.

If the announcement is Wednesday, that timing says something happened with riley and we are closing on a back up plan. Otherwise the announcement is yesterday, today, or after our coach is done coaching.

I’m not sure how well connected he is to the search and/or Woodward. He is Director of Athletic Alumni Engagement for the TAF, so there is good reason to believe he isn’t speaking on baseless claims. He was probably told to say what he did by admin, so I trust him.

JV was calling his shot for the timing of the announcement prior to our game on Saturday and the LR denial or announcement. So, it has nothing to do with Riley or some type of scrambling. I thought the timing of announcement was odd, but he wouldn't say who it was only we would know by then or sooner.
Is his information correct, who the frick knows. Seems like a great deal of misinformation going around.

So if JV is wrong, either his source was wrong on the announcement date, our coach is still coaching, or it was Riley and fell through.
