You must have missed the part where he was declared innocent and all charges in that case against him were dropped.
But you are right, the political BS & optics of him coming on with the shite show cloud we have would not happen. If Briles did come here though he would absolutely kill it here. He would frustrate the hell out of Saban and every other coach in the SEC.
