They know how to support a team. LSU fans need to learn from them! It looked like a soccer game party for the entire game! We suck at supporting our team

Penn State Student section has always been ranked the best student section in the country.

LSU fans need to get over it. frick Penn State. I don't want to be like Penn State. I don't want to look like them. Just be happy with being LSU. Purple, gold, white shirts, smells like cajun food and beer with parties like none other.

i think im gunna start taking trips to PSU to be a part of their student section....and hopefully they post scores from around the country because i really want to see how well my new team Bama is doing

LSU's "problems" with the student section root from the attitudes of the rest of the fan base. Because LSU is so damn good now, people have the "just another easy game" mindset when LSU isn't playing in a big game. They don't go into the stadium expecting to yell their arse off and make a difference in the game. This attitude trickles down to the students. They see it as the normal, expected behavior.

Very true. Said this same thing in a post the other day.
Winning changes everything. You expect instead of earn(in terms of crowd participation). Though, at Ohio State it's the Students who get the crowd into it most of the time(more specifically Block O).

oh, it's definitely like that in Tiger Stadium. The students are still loud as hell, stand the whole game, and encourage the rest of the stadium to join in. By reading this board you would believe our student section is awful. While it has its flaws, it's still one of the better ones in the country and quite possibly the loudest when it comes to big games.
