Lumber makes sense - I hit up Forrest hill every year for the garden. Had no idea CENLA was a huge oil player

I mean its not an island on to itself, its part of a bigger industry within the state but you'll see derricks pumping all over on backroads and there are a lot of older family oil companies. Some not as big as they used to be, some used to drill internationally but that basically describes the entire state.

Ahh yeh the soap plant, I forgot about that. Olla or Urania got some big plant a few years back that make some wood product that was a pretty big deal for the area.

Hunt petroleum has taken billions out of lasalle parish, passed out a few measly jobs and everybody smiles. It’s actually pretty sickening.
