go back about the last 10 or so years and tell me how many Wildcat Formation teams won it all. Then call me an idiot....

The guy running it from Ole Miss was no McFadden or Mitchell for that matter and he shredded Fla. You don't think there is a reason more and more people are using it.

Dude, for real. Do you even watch college football? Yeah, it may work real well at first, but once you inplement the right defense it is shut down almost instantly. You also have to factor in the idea that Ole Miss got lucky a couple of times....

NO, I am just telling you that that crappy Wildcat Formation will not win it all. It may win a big game here and there but week in and week out it is not the playbook you want to have as your go to playbook

Mitchell in the shotgun, with Williams in the backfield. 4 WR's - LaFell, Holliday, Chris Mitchell, and T Tolliver. We could do all sorts of things with it, I suppose.

and our #1 WR gets left out of the picture why??

Yea, let's run an offense that once a defense sees anyone black at the QB position, they call an audible and stack the box.

On a side note, J. Mitchell or K. Williams running it is not like Darren McFadden running it. He was leagues ahead of them as far as talent.

So, yeah, I hope we do run it, so we can freaking lose.

Some of ya'll need to wake up and leave Candyland!

nobody is saying you base your offense on the formation. its something you run every so often, just to throw the defense off.

Keiland at qb, scott and rb and trindon at rb. Have trindon in the slot and come across the center for a handoff or fake handoff, if the de pinches in, keiland keeps it, if he goes out, pitch it to scott.

Casey...if youll bend over, I will personally help you pull your head out of your arse. Nobody so far has said to run this fkin formation all game...just enough to make the defense think a little and create some doubt and confusion. Good Grief! Youre one of the douche bags who doesnt even know there are other positions other than missionary!

Sorry guys, I thought we were talking about volleyball. Yes, LSU should run the Wildcat Formation. Anything Houston Nutt does Les Miles should do.

Isn't is just a zone read with a RB instead of a QB? shite let JJ run it or KW for that matter.

I think it's a simple but effective play. Worked great with Matt Mauck and is hard to defend when the guy getting the snap can run.

WTF?? Have you come out with ur gameplan to defend it yet??

Apparently, its easy to scheme against it. Its not like the worst team in the NFL used it to KICK THE CRAP out of a team that won 20 straight reg season games....

You can do mis direction all day or you can run Scott right at them and pick up 5 yards a pop.
That's a no brainer!

Casey,

That is true but tell me who beat us last year using this shite and who used it this week to beat Fla????? That works when used a little to mix in with the offense.
