Won't be surprised if it involves one or more semis. Never seen so many truckers on the interstate yesterday in my life. Just a fricking wall. Then there's the yahoos haulers that think they should be doing 90.

I dread driving the new three lane section of I-10 near Breaux Bridge. Every damn time there are cars that take lane switching as a competitive challange.

Anyone have a description on the vehicles involved? My dad drives that area to and from work and he isn't answering his phone right now.....


He just called me back. Thankfully, it wasn't him. My thoughts go out to those involved.

GRAMERCY, La. (WAFB) - Louisiana State Police say several people are dead in the crash on Airline Highway just south of Interstate 10 in Ascension Parish.

Airline Highway is closed at the scene of the accident which occurred around 5 p.m. Wednesday.

At 5:50 p.m., LSP spokesman Trooper Taylor Scrantz said the agency was still assessing the number of dead and injured.

GRAMERCY - Multiple people were killed in a crash on Airline Highway near the border of Ascension and St. James parishes the night before Thanksgiving.

The crash was reported around 5 p.m. on Airline Highway just south of I-10. Sources told WBRZ that three people died in the wreck and at least one other person was hurt.

Authorities said as many as three vehicles were involved, and one of them reportedly caught fire.

The crash has shut down traffic on the highway in that area.

I drive across the highway of death Whiskey Bay, and there are more 18 wheelers than cars/trucks.
Those mofos don’t obey road laws at all.
