So wait, is the justice system broken and in need of a complete tear down and reform?

Verdict aside, it took some pretty extreme measures and house cleaning to even get this to trial. There were multiple cover ups locally between law enforcement and legal.

This doesn’t get videotaped and leaked and we never even hear about it.

The courts finally getting it right doesn’t necessarily mean the system is just or that it doesn’t need reform.

That local LEO and the local prosecutor have to have seriously tight buttholes right now. The feds are going to be up their arse even more.

So, how do you reform it? Take prosecutorial discretion away from prosecutors?

Correct. Kyle should have never been brought to trial.

When the socialists take over, the first thing nationalized should be the legal profession. Everyone is in the pool.

I'd love to hear what reforms will prevent crooked DAs from prosecuting or not prosecuting cases. I know that the progs on this board think it's only the "good ole boys" who do it, but the progressive DAs in place across the country don't even try to hide it.

Mayor Lori Lightfoot and a group of City Council members urged Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx Monday to reconsider prosecuting five suspects in a deadly gang-related shootout last week in Austin after they were released when prosecutors rejected charges against them.

Chicago police sought to charge all five suspects with murder and aggravated battery after they allegedly engaged in a Friday morning gunfight between two factions of the Four Corner Hustlers street gang, the Chicago Sun-Times first reported.

The state’s attorney’s office, however, declined to charge any of them, calling the evidence insufficient. A police report further noted that prosecutors told investigators charges were rejected because the shootout involved “mutual combatants.”

There was ACTUAL VIDEO of the shootout in this case.
