Any baws allergic to alchohol?

I'm not sure if I'm allergic to booze or just getting old, but I can barely drink 5-6 beers and not feel like dog shite for 2 days. No matter what I drink (beer or liquor), I get drunk quickly and hungover as all hell for the next day or two.
Went to a concert Saturday night and had two tall boys, with a short beer after the concert. Went home and have felt like dog shite Sunday and still feeling it today.
Let me know if this is something I should check w/ a doctor about, or if getting old just sucks this much

I have an asian friend of mine who does not possess the enzyme that breaks down alcohol. He literally gets TANKED after 2 beers

Yes, I actually have nerve damage from it. I still drink but it causes my whole left side to go numb and tingles.
The problem is there is no way for them to test if you are or not. Just have to do it based on what happens to you. Like I would break out in hives when I drank.

What have you drinking habits been like over the last decade?
When i was in college. Give me all of the alcohol and it doesnt matter how much and ill be good to go the next day by noon.
Now a decade later i rarely do more than a beer a week. If i get frisky and drink 5-6 beers yes im in for a shitty next day or so. But thats because i have zero tolerance built up.
I hardly drink more than one drink at a time anymore. Just isnt worth feeling like shite and having my kids wake me up at 7 in the morning the next day.

I grew up with a guy that was. After a beer or 2 his whole body turn beet red and he would get hammered faster than all us. He could still hold his own though.

I've had the same thought, but I'm pretty sure it's just getting old.
If I drink a couple of hard liquor drinks, 2-3 glasses of wine, or 6 pack of beer, I will feel like total shite the next morning and well into the afternoon. It also ruins my run or workout the next day.
