I don’t get it. Some of you would crap your pants with excitement if it was Jimbo and he done nothing at A&M with far more resources than Lane who has accomplished much more with way less. I don’t care that he is cocky or corky. The guy is obviously brought his coaching to the next level and can win. But bring on the down votes because facts hurt your feelings.

WTH has lane kiffin done? Jimbo has won multiple national championships one as a oc and one as head coach.
He’s recruiting better than they have ever done in the schools history, finished number 5 in the final poll last year, Beat Alabama with a backup qb , is 2-1 against LSU so far and He’s held them together this season with no offense to speak of.

Lane is also in the west and his angle up and to the right is steeper than Jimbo’s in a shorter time. And lane did it with less talented team and resources.

Who’s fault it is that they have no offense? It amazes me how he gets a pass on any short coming of his team like he hasn’t been the head coach there for years.

I’m with you. This board is insane for not wanting Kiffin. Remember, in addition to his success at Ole Miss so far, credit him for changing Saban’s mindset about offense/QBs, which has led to Alabama’s recent title runs. He was to them what Joe Brady was to us.

I think the qb they had getting hurt really took away the chance for a great year.
I’m amazed at how jimbo took the same guy from the colorado game and in a few weeks he turned him into a qb that could beat Alabama .
He developed that qb in record time. May be the most impressive qb coaching over a few weeks that I’ve seen

Jimbo has impressed this year more than I expected. I’d still rather have a bunch of other guys, but to say he’s not as qualified as kiffin is crazy

I’d take him over lane if I had to pick today . He’s definitely more qualified but he may not have the boom or bust potential that kiffin has.

Because he’s pulling a good recruiting class? His class with Cam Akers and Marvin Wilson was insane and he went 5-6 the next season and basically destroyed the program. He’s been recruiting “well” since he got to A&M and it’s not translating onto the field. Jimbo sucks

The recruiting is way better now over there
It doesn’t matter anyway , he’s not gonna leave and who could blame him, he has it good right now with his land and the recruiting taking another big step. He’s got them in a good spot and should stay.
Kiffin isn’t getting a mention anywhere besides people saying Woodward doesn’t like him.
This thread is pointless, I think we could do better than both. I’d take lane as an oc though. He wouldn’t have the power to go for it on 4th down every other drive
