Really pains me to see the once vaunted Death Valley reduced to an abandoned shell haunted

By a few loyal diehards.

Really does look like the 1990s. Maybe worse.

Orgeron killed the greatest sports venue on Earth.

Nah, stadium would be empty with Saban as coach. Stadium gets rowdy only once or twice a season and empties out early every other game.

Death Valley is the most overrated venue in college sports.

Until you get rid of corporations giving tickets to bandwagon fans in the office, it will always be like this. LSU has priced out the common folk who live and breathe football.

It’s too big imo. Would be a better environment with about 80K capacity.

I was thinking the same thing. It's Tiger Alumni Band week and they had over 400 folks wanting to do it. Would have been a hell of a half time show to see it. About the game it's sad to see the team struggle against a lesser opponent.

1000%.

Cut 15-20K seats and add some actually 21st century amenities.

No, he didn't.

TAF/Tradition Fund
No free parking anywhere near stadium
Ridiculous tailgating rules
shite home OOC scheduling (all marquee games at "neutral" sites)

This is what chased off the fans that would booze all day and scream their heads off until the clock read 0:00.

Other than former players and coaches who played against LSU saying otherwise. I’m not an LSU fan and came here to troll some but this isn’t true at all

I've said this since they expanded to 92,000. Too much supply means demand falls. Throw in a shitty product, and here's your result.

The home TVs are too big and nice, you don't have to put up with shitty concessions, uncomfortable seats and bad traffic.

Reduce capacity, put real effort into the gameday experience, and give people a reason to abandon the comforts of home.

Not to mention costs. Season tickets now cost exponentially more than they did 20 years ago.

It’s not just LSU. It’s all stadiums. People would rather stay home in comfort now.

Bro the reality is tiger stadium is a social event for a ton of people who have no skin in the game.

At its best, its still the best stadium in sports but that only happens against Alabama, maybe Florida or Auburn. 1-2 times per year max.

Oh come on, you could get tickets for peanuts for this game, that’s not the reason it’s empty
