They will NOT walk out of the deliberation room without a conviction...of some sort. Likely Negligent Homicide, or anything that will pacify the heathen outside the courtroom.

Cancel Culture attack is the least of the Jury's worries; more like outright violent 'redress' is foremost on their minds. Self survival...is THE determinative deliberative factor; with 'Justice' running way back.

Because we are no longer a nation of laws. We are now a nation of mob rule.

So question... If they convict on one of the lesser counts and he appeals and wins re-trial, the state can only prosecute on the convicted count, correct?

Since the jury found not guilty on others, it would be double jeopardy for those counts?

No way. This country is fed up with leftism and defund the police and all that. These people watched their city burn because of it.

The majority will reject the idea that Kyle should have taken a beating before pulling the trigger.

A progressive holdout or 2 may force a hung jury.

Negligent Homicide
I think a big misconception is that BLM/Antifa/MSM will not be satisfied with anything other than 1st degree and life in prison.

So if the jury comes back with a partial or lesser conviction like that, there will still be riots, death threats, doxxing, etc.

Mistrial without prejudice delays the madness.

Mistrial with prejudice or full acquittal are the only "wins" for Kyle Rittenhouse.

If he isn't convicted on every single count they will riot anyway so giving a compromise conviction does nothing to appease the mob and just destroys an innocent man's life.

You really couldn’t be more wrong. There are 6 minimum who are NG on all counts and those people will not budge

There’s video

No. fricking. Way.

This is a jury of likely working class Kenosha residents who were likely disgusted by what happened to their city. They’ve seen the video of clear self-defense too. No fricking way will twelve of them vote to convict on negligent homicide. That’s pure lunacy.

The holdouts are likely a couple of intimidated women who will cower to the mob.
