We know he would take it if offered but he's probably further down Woodward's list. I'm just not sure who wants to come here. Of course we know money talks.

Literally every coach in America outside the 10 or so “elite” candidates who LSU fans seem to think are dying to come here. If a guy is paid millions and is in a stable program, he ain’t leaving.
If you polled every D1 coach anonymously and asked, “Would you take the LSU job if it were offered to you right now?” 90% would say yes. Most would say yes regardless of the money.
But when you only shoot for the top dogs, you miss more often than not.

Nobody wants it, Woodard will have a tough time finding a coach. He will have to take a chance on a lesser quality candidate.

I get the feeling Aranda would want it, but it's just whether he wants LSU or USC more. If Woodward hasn't contacted him though, I don't guess it really matters but I don't really believe that. I think he wanted it in 2016 honestly, and looking back, that would have probably been the better choice if you're going to hire someone already on the staff.
