Another Friday in Baton Rouge.

Birmingham is bad but this traffic here is atrocious.

Buy up a whole zip code in North BR for pennies on the dollar.
Prescott and Mohican area which is mostly older homes and apartments.
Doze everything down.
Clean up the land.

Put a big house in the middle of the zip code with no one around you. This will force the population to shift to South BR.

Jump on I-110 to go downtown with ease, LSU with ease, cross the old Miss River Bridge with ease.

I just passed that after an hour waiting. There’s literally no reason I could see that the lane was closed. A couple cop cars and a homeless guy. Very weird.

I got stuck in it for a short while. I saw this post and immediately exited Bluebonnet. Traffic was heavy down Bluebonnet but appears to been a much better alternative than sitting and waiting on the interstate.

After only 30 minutes of rain the intersection of Lanier and Prescott floods.
