It did it on 9 when I was 29.
I’m hoping to make it before I turn 70. If I hit my irons like today a lot, I will. Birdied 3 of the 4 par 3’s.

I’d imagine the key is to play straight forward courses from the appropriate tees

I watched my Dad do it when he was 80 at Anita Springs CC. My son and I witnessed it and we were pretty excited for Dad. I hope to accomplish that between 73 and 80. Soon after shooting his age he had to quit golf forever cause of a bad knee. We shared so many great memories playing golf. It broke my heart when he had to guit.

I first shot mine when I was 66. That was seven years ago so it's a tad easier, if I have a good putting day lol

I missed it by 5 shots back in August. Next year I’ll do it…I’ve got one small swing flaw that is holding me back.
I’ve been playing over 55 years and still no HIO. Either way, a HIO or I shoot my age, I plan on retiring my clubs after whichever comes first !
