Does anyone have a link to actual facts about this proposed payment?
It sounds like it would only apply when ICE separated parent from child, and the family has never been re-united. Situations in which agents of the US government permanently lost someone’s child.
Not sure the US owes a duty or (if there is a duty) that $450k is not far too high a figure, but it does not apoear likely to apply to many people.

A lot of the cases of these “separations” were when children were traveling with unrelated adults to begin with.
If the actual parents sent the kids up with anyone who wasn’t a relative, why the frick should they get dollar one?

lol if you think it will end there and FYI most kids weren't really lost and were only taken to verify relationships to the adults because of sex trafficking, etc. They have been reunited. Well, the ones that didn't sell their kids to the cartel were anyway.
Also, this is per member of the family so a family of 4 gets the amount X 4

They aren’t owed shite! Being separated from your child ( if it’s even true to begin with ) is a risk you take when you break the freaking law!

i doubt there is a link to an actual govt offical going on record saying this program is going to happen. back when Trump was president this board hated un named sources. Now they post them daily and then rant about them.
