I'm excited for JSU as that's the local university relative to where I'm from. I also attended school there before transferring to Alabama.

There is no such thing as “big time football” at the g5 level
Honestly after everything that’s happened, this is best case scenario. Obviously isn’t ideal but we’ll get exit fees and we still have a conference.

JSU is having a down year this year but they have been a perennial playoff contender at the FCS level for the last decade. They lost to NDSU in the FCS National Championship Game back in 2015-16. So it's not like they are absolute trash.

FIU, UTEP, LA Tech, Liberty, NM State, SHSU, and Jax State. I think they need an eighth for football. Maybe UConn and UMass. Will they be able to get another school for other sports? I think they need 8 to have a auto bid in NCAA tournament.
