After watching Jacquizz Rodgers last night I wondered. He's about Trindon's size.

Dam, 180 yards against USC... What a great run threat against the 300 pounders on the D-line.

Fast enough, sure. Is he strong enough to run against AL, GA, & FL? Does he have the moves?

The wizard will watch the USC-OS game tape today and he's got to think about it.

I would like to see it.

Trindon just isn't good enough at LSU to be regularly running up the middle. Not going to happen.

Rodgers is 195 lbs Trindon is about 160. Trindon is fast but he is to small to carry the ball 30+ times up the middle.

Trindon is not as strong or as durable as that little guy last night. Too many times he's barely touched and he goes right down. He also is too fumble prone right now.

he doesn't seem to be as quick as rogers, and rogers is 20-25 lbs heavier (if he's 180)

And lets get something straight right now buddy. Les Miles doesn't take suggestions from the Pac10. That right there shows it is an impossibility.

Well its an idea. They both have a low center of gravity, so an agressive defense could have trouble wrapping up. But what seperates Jaquizz from Trindon, is a combination of quickness (making guys miss), field vision, and deceptive power. When SC would come high, Jaquizz would just push forward like MJDrew. While Trindon would smoke anyone in a footrace, I think he mainly lacks quickness (and when I say quickness, please understand that I am referring to the ability to juke, cutback, and spin), and strength.

TH & JR are two different types of players. Plus, it seems like we have a pretty good up the middle back, so trindon does not have to be that guy. I would like to see him learn to field a punt during a big game???
JR was on one hell of a mission last night. What a game! Thanks for the entertainment Beavers!!!

I actually agree with SFP on this one. Trindon isn't as quick as Jaquizz. He is faster in a race, but he isnt as shifty as Jaquizz. Basically, he can't move laterally like Jaquizz can. Jaquizz did a great time dancing around the holes. Trindon basically sees the hole and goes.

Why would he watch the tape? To prepare for Oregon State? To prepare for USC?

Problem is TH is a track star. That OSU guy knows how to pick his holes and really hold the ball.

Rogers was more powerful and has very good vision and more moves than TH. TH has better straight away speed.

I see Trindon as an open field runner.

But that was a very interesting offensive strategy last night. I think it could be applied in the SEC. The D lines in the SEC compare pretty good to USC. A small powerful back should be able to dance around AL, FL, and LSU defensive front four also.

But Jacquizz has nothing on C. Scott!
